UML’s one-of-its-kind manufacturing unit in Rania near Vadodara, Gujarat, comprises a fully-equipped, technologically updated tool room, a high-tech CAD-CAM centre and a full-fledged mould design and development unit.

UML also offers in-house Gamma Irradiation Sterilization facility, UML a comprehensive one stop solutions for all types and treatments for rubber closers and medical device components.

Manufacturing Facility

Universal Medicap Ltd., is designed to provide the facility to process the rubber stoppers in the state of art, cGMP & ISO 14644 complaint, ultra-modern clean room processing facility where the processing and packing of RFS & RFU grade stoppers is done in a Class 100 (Grade-A) Laminar Air Flow within a Class 1,000 (Grade-B) background supported by a well-designed material and personnel flow with minimum handling necessary. The plant is supported with state of the art utilities like HVAC, Purified water & Water For Injection generating plants.

Tool Room

UML possesses the infrastructure, technology, and capability to develop moulds to cater routine and customized requirements. We are equipped with a state-of-the-art CAD-CAM based tool room to design and manufacture moulds and tools in-house, making UML a comprehensive one stop solution for all types of rubber stoppers.

Our tool room encompasses ‘Quality by Design’ and ‘Art to Part’ concept for development of moulds and tools, enabling us to manufacture rubber stoppers with precise, accurate and narrow dimensional tolerances that ensures smooth functioning on high-speed filling lines with no human interventions and minimal online rejections resulting in enhanced productivity of the end user.

In-house Gamma Irradiation Facility

Universal ISO-MED is the first Gamma Irradiation plant set up in Gujarat, making us the very first rubber stopper manufacturing company to have this facility in-house. Apart from our captive use, we also provide contractual irradiation services for industrial products, pharmaceutical & healthcare products including medical devices and components, as well as decontamination & disinfestation of food and allied products.

High Tech CAD centre

Based on the principle of ‘Quality by deisgn’ we have a state-of-the-art CAD-CAM (computer aided design) based tool room to manufacture standard and customized molds and tooling, enabling us to manufacture rubber stoppers with a very narrow dimensional tolerance with least human intervention and assure a high-end quality product.

Mould Design and Development

Our tool room encompasses moulds that are based on the principle of ‘Art to Part’ with precise and accurate design details to ensure an efficient product.
